Shawn Dimpfl received his Master’s Degree in Social Psychology in 2009 and in 2011 received a Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership in the Non-Profit Disability Organization.
Mr. Dimpfl has had over six years of experience conducting research with individuals with disabilities at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During that time he has participated in several research activities at the Center on Minorities with Disabilities Research including studies of cultural competence, transition, employment of people with disabilities and white privilege in collaboration with Center staff. He is currently project coordinator for the Add Us In Initiative’s Chicagoland consortium.
This project is funded by a Department of Labor grant focusing on assisting people with various disabilities to get jobs or start their own businesses.
